The Granada-based band Palmar de Troya unleashes their third release, “III” alongside a series of concerts and festivals where the band showcases their explosive live performance and a razor-sharp wall of sound. This upcoming 10", made up of seven new tracks, continues in the noise rock / post-hardcore vein of their previous releases, while the band further develops a distinctive and recognizable identity that moves away from the genre’s clichés. The influences of Sonic Youth and The Jesus Lizard are clearly present, while flashes of newer influences also emerge — such as the new wave of British post-punk bands like Dry Cleaning and Lambrini Girls. “III” will be released in early April via Reptilian Records on vinyl, with digital distribution handled by the Granada-based independent label Linier Discos.
