Midiron Blast Shaft were a jagged, angular twin guitar attack force from Pennsylvania that exploded onto the post-hardcore noise rock scene in 1997. After releasing a 4-song demo tape and 7” record in 1998, local independent shop Siren Records released the band’s first full length, “Igneous Assertions”, in 1999. That album brought their first national tour, leading them through Baltimore to Reptilian Records, where they released the blistering LP/CD "Starts Fires in Your Pants" back in 2000. Shortly after playing most of that record along with a handful of newer songs at SXSW in 2002, the band broke up.

This record is literally 25 years in the making, with 7 of the 8 tracks being songs written between 2001-2002, but never before recorded, along with a brand new track.
